Horizontal FRP Tanks

Horizontal FRP tanks are new composite material products formed by microcomputer-controlled machine winding, with glass fibers as the reinforcing agent and resin as the binder. These tanks have multiple advantages, including corrosion resistance, high strength, light weight, and long service life. They can store various corrosive media, such as various acids, alkalis, salts and organic solvents, and are suitable for the storage and transportation of many products such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, formaldehyde, methanol, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, sewage, sodium hypochlorite, etc.

The structure of horizontal FRP tanks consists of an anti-corrosion and anti-seepage inner lining layer, a reinforcing structural layer, and an anti-aging outer surface layer, ensuring both good resistance to medium corrosion and sufficient physical and mechanical properties to meet the filling requirements. In addition, they also have the characteristics of a smooth appearance, easy cleaning, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, high pressure resistance, aging resistance, and effective temperature maintenance.

In terms of installation, horizontal FRP tanks need to select a suitable installation location and ensure a flat and firm foundation. Select the appropriate lifting equipment according to the size and weight of the tank and set it up properly. During the installation process, attention should be paid to providing firm support for the tank. The installation steps roughly include determining the installation location, checking whether the foundation meets the requirements, and cleaning the installation site; installing the base on the foundation according to the design requirements, ensuring the base is level and firmly fixed; placing the tank on the base and adjusting the levelness and verticality of the tank according to the design requirements; finally, connect the inlet, outlet and other pipes to the tank according to the design requirements.

In terms of maintenance, when entering the tank for maintenance, all feed valves should be closed first, and the tank should be emptied and cleaned. Before climbing, the safety and reliability of the external ladder, cage and guardrail of the tank should be carefully checked. In general, horizontal FRP tanks have broad application prospects in industries such as chemical engineering, environmental protection, food, and pharmaceuticals due to their unique material properties and structural design.
